Delta Gamma New House

There isn’t a better experience than living in a house with 90 of your best friends. You get to meet so many people, make connections that will last a lifetime, and create bonds with so many girls. Living in-house opens up so many opportunities you wouldn’t even think are possible. From endless sleepovers to constant support, you’re never bored.

We are so lucky to live in such a spacious and beautiful home with such amazing staff. Our house was built in August 2017. It is filled with 2, 3, and 4-man bedrooms, which gives many options for the members to choose which room will work best for them. My favorite thing about our house is how it is a central meeting point for the whole chapter. Monday nights are my favorite when every member meets in the chapter room to hold a chapter.

Just some of the features that are included in the new house are (but are definitely not limited to) the most updated technologies for both exterior and interior security, a beautiful grand staircase, a chapter room that is capable of seating over 300 people, a grand dining hall and two living floors which can sleep 90 women (with the best Wi-Fi capabilities we can get). At the forefront of our minds when choosing how to design this house is how to make this commercial structure feel like a home, so every inch of this house has been looked over enough times that I could walk you through it in my sleep! This house is designed to serve the needs of over 300 collegiate women in order to give them the best college experience and I have no doubt that it will do just that.

Being chapter president of Delta Gamma in our beautiful home is the best experience I’ve had. I know I can speak for all of the women who make up our chapter when I say how thankful we are for all the people who made this happen. Being a Delta Gamma is an empowering, loving, and unique experience that will stay with you for life.

Delta Gamma "Old" House

Our old house was one of the most well-known on campus for its beautiful curved façade and unique portico, where on a sunny day you can look to the top and see our girls enjoying the beautiful weather by taking their studies outside and catching some sun. 900 S. Providence had been the home of the University of Missouri Delta Gamma’s for 80 years and has been the anchor to our sisterhood. Our old house is filled with endless memories that we will cherish forever. We are so excited to fill the walls of our new house with the same love and memories.
